We are thrilled to announce that our President and Co-founder, Paula Andrea Echeverri Durango, has been honored by We Are ALX as one of the ALX100: A Celebration of Leadership and Legacy. This prestigious recognition, celebrated at the JFK Presidential Library, marks over 20 years of her unwavering dedication to the field of Early Childhood Education.

Paula’s leadership has been the driving force behind the transformation of our community. What began in February 2024 as a localized peer support group with only 4 founding members has experienced explosive growth under her vision. Today, in May 2026, ECCHO-Latino has expand05-08-2026ed into a vibrant statewide network of over 380 dedicated educators.

A Legacy of Impact:

As Paula often shares, her passion was ignited by the personal challenge of finding flexible childcare for her son, which exposed a lack of empathy for working families. That passion has now empowered hundreds of Spanish-speaking educators to thrive as professional small business owners and recognized leaders.

Please join us in congratulating Paula on this well-deserved milestone!
