May 8, 2026, is Provider Appreciation Day!
Today, May 8, 2026, is Provider Appreciation Day, and we have a very special reason to celebrate! The City of Springfield has issued an official proclamation honoring the 47 dedicated child care providers within the ECCHO-Latino community who operate small businesses in our city.
These incredible professionals provide more than 350 child care seats for Springfield families, serving as the “workforce behind the workforce”. Their unwavering dedication and professionalism create the safe, nurturing environments our youngest residents need to thrive.
We want to extend a huge thank you to City Councilor Jose Delgado and the entire Springfield City Council for recognizing the passion, resilience, and heartfelt care our members bring to this community every single day.
