ECCHO-Latino Takes the Stage: Building Stronger Communities at “A View from All Sides”

We are proud to look back on a significant moment for our organization. On November 6, 2025, ECCHO-Latino founders Paula Andrea Echeverri Durango and Harold Blanco were featured speakers at The Children’s Trust’s premier event, A View from All Sides.

Paula and Harold represented our community on the closing panel, “Partnering for Prevention: Voices from the Field on Building Stronger Communities.” ### Advocacy in Action During the panel, our founders shared their unique perspective on family well-being and prevention through the lens of early childhood education. They shared the powerful story of how building a unified, high-quality educator community is one of the most effective ways to support families across Massachusetts.

Their message was clear: When we grow together as a stronger, better-qualified community of educators, we create a safer and more enriching environment for every child.

Our Impact: 302 Members Strong

ECCHO-Latino’s participation in this event highlighted the core pillars that have allowed us to reach our current milestone of 302 members:

  • Advocacy: Giving a powerful voice to Spanish-speaking educators to influence state policy.
  • Community: Strengthening a network of over 300 professionals who empower one another.
  • Training: Ensuring Family Child Care (FCC) owners are always updated on the latest best practices.

Driving Lasting Change

Being invited to speak at A View from All Sides was a testament to the strength of our model. By strengthening the ECE workforce, we are not just helping businesses; we are driving lasting change for the children and families who rely on them.

“Building a community where we support each other isn’t just a goal—it’s a necessity for the future of early education in Massachusetts.”Harold Blanco & Paula Andrea Echeverri Durango
